Thanks iDaylon! And don't be afraid to contribute as well! Even though the Spoilers are a slight roadblock, it still won't stop this thing from being completed!

Thoughts on the Bubbler
The Bubbler, a Special Weapon that accompanies the Splattershot Jr. (in the most recent build of the game), creates a barrier around your Inkling that protects you from all damage for a limited amount of time. This greatly enhances the Splattershot Jr's offensive potential, as now the quick-firing weapon can now swarm in on enemies controlling a point, perhaps leading the team in a surprising push towards the objective, or to regain territory during a congested firefight.
However, the most interesting thing about the Bubbler isn't just that it protects the player that activates it. Along with yourself, any of your teammates that comes in contact with you gains the Bubbler ability as well. This means that players who have this special weapon equipped will want to alert their teammates when the Bubbler is ready. Now, your entire team can push for the objective after activation of the Bubbler. With each of your teammates granted invincibility for a short amount of time, enemies can easily be overwhelmed by your team's aggression and quick ink coverage.
Therefore, it's crucial that Splattershot Jr's take advantage of the weapon's rapid fire-rate and wide ink coverage to charge up the Special meter. Communication is key to utilize the Bubbler to its highest potential, as this weapon can definitely turn the tides of battle.

Special Weapon: Bubbler Image and proof of name: Stats: (presumably none, since it's a special weapon, though we'll see in the final build.) (brief) Gameplay: Additional Info: Gives invincibility to player for limited amount of time Teammates that touch the player gain a Bubbler shield as well. Most effective when used before a congested firefight If hit by Splat Roller when shielded, player is knocked back a bit.

Nice writeup JP!
From what I can discern, the Bubbler's duration seems to be about 5 seconds. I'm uncertain if this is also its duration when passed onto other inklings. It's somewhat notable that its animation gives you away even when you're immobile beneath some ink. Then again why would you bother to hide when you're invincible? Either way, learning the timing is going to be key for both using and facing this special. Say firing a blaster shot a fraction of a second before its duration is up so the Bubbler expires just before it explodes and splatters them. In other words, don't get overzealous. You'll need to be able to escape so don't just rush into what would normally be a risky combat situation without any thought as to what you'll do when it runs out.
Also consider the mentality of a player facing off against a temporarily invincible inkling. I just need to survive. There's no need to take any unnecessary risks. I just have to outlast the barrier. I'll shoot just to keep the area around me inked and kite them while keeping out of their gun's effective range using my squid form. Weapons like the Splattershot Jr.s poor range work against it when it can't effectively pressure other players despite being invulnerable. All they have to do is scatter, wait it out, and splatter you the moment it wears off.
Same deal if you use it to say for example waltz onto the enemy side of the map and spew ink everywhere. Ha! I'm painting over your color right in front of your spawn pad and there aint nothing you can do to stop me! Get's splattered by an inkling that was biding its time as soon as its effect wore off who then proceeds to easily repaint all the turf that was lost. That's again why forethought into how you'll extract yourself from the area quickly and safely is potentially just as if not more important than when to activate it in the first place. Otherwise you risk losing everything you were able to gain during those precious five seconds.
I could also see people using it quite often as an "Oh Shit!" panic button when things go south. You could also use it to tank specials like the Inkstrike and Killer Wail or just plain take advantage of the invulnerability to escape using the Super Jump when under heavy enemy fire. I've noticed that in Splat Zones, your special meter slowly fills automatically, but this can be sped up through the usual method of covering the ground in ink. Also, this is only somewhat related, but the inky bubbling tentacle animation when your special is ready is super cool looking. I love it so much.
All an all I'm a fan of the Bubbler and hope to see more defensive/support based specials in the future.

Like the Splash Wall creating a one-way shield that lets you shoot through it, but blocks enemy fire. Seeing players utilize their weapons in conjunction with each other is going to be really interesting, as competitive gameplay becomes more apparent.

Don't forget that matchups are determined by ranking/level ;3 I bet I level off at a certain point, like B+ maybe and can't get higher than that. But then who knows how tough the metagames going to be. I can't wait ^w^

Where the trail is being created is a little off in that. Maybe that is why the Brush hasn't been officially announced yet?
