Oh really? That would be useful (especially for images/gameplay) Not sure how robust it is as of yet. I've only seen a few pages and they were pretty sparse (understandable). Still, worth keeping an eye on.

I'm actually one of the main editors on that Wiki "DaKidWiiTrailers" I can tell you right now that wiki won't be near completed until the game comes out.

Yeah I just looked at the wiki, and there's a LOT of current information not yet added. I'll start contributing to the wiki as soon as wikia stops being dumb for me

I've actually edited some articles on that wiki before. If you go to the page about Splatoon ( Link) in the modes section I added the Hero Mode part. However there is no link to the Hero Mode page on it as it doesn't exist yet.

Okay so I added a brief description of each Weapon type. I plan on adding in any weapons that you guys spot. I will need some image (whether full or snipped from a video) as well as any other information. Just submit in this thread. If anyone has any suggestions/changes, please let me know.

Added! Thanks! I may end up changing the layout of it all if the images are too large and stuff gets cluttered. Can we make spoiler boxes on this forum?

Xeiros do you have a suggestion for the names of the sub-categories? If I have a decent name I will start categorizing them.

I'd sort the weapon set's by the category of the main weapon itself. As for how you'd categorize some of the sub and special weapons apart from shoving them all into their respective groups, I'm at a loss. Some like the grenade based sub weapons fit well together, but some of the others like the sprinkler or Splash wall seem to be in classes all their own. Perhaps like the former group, there are additional subs like them we haven't seen yet.
Then there are main weapon's I'm unsure of. Is the Blaster in it's own category. Seems so, but it's the only one of it's kind we've seen. What about the brush? Does it share stats and similar gameplay to the Roller or is it too it's own category of weapon? There's still so much we don't know.
To make sorting main weapon set's simpler. I'd sort them based on their set of three stats.
Shot-based weapons which include the Splattershot, Splattershot Pro, Splattershot Jr, .52 Gallon, and the Jet Squelcher all share the Attack, Rate, And Range stats.
Roller Weapons include the Splat Roller and at least one other known, but still nameless variant share the Range, Weight, and Ink Speed stats.
Charger Weapons which include the Splat Charger, Quick Splat Charger, Scoped Splat Charger, and others all share the Range, Charge Rate, and Mobility stats.
