Welcome to the Inkwell!
For those of you looking to create or join a Splatoon team/crew, or if you just want to talk, hang out, and discuss strats, techniques, and tactics; this is the thread for you!
The Splatoon Community is slowly growing, and we're all very excited for the future of the game, whether it be in the competitive scene, or just as a fun multiplayer game with friends.
Have fun!

We'll definitely be looking to give team/crew support in the new site, so would love to see some hype this avenue. Good thread. ^_^

I mean, sporadic ink is a serious issue.
You should think about consulting a doctor immediately.

If I had anything resembling leadership and organizational skills, I would be trying to create and coordinate with teams in different states when the game came out to create a network of united competitive players trying to get better. I'm still considering trying to start up a Central Florida group.

I'm hoping to get a Louisiana group set up. I know of at least 4 other people interested in the game at my school (it's a small school, so...)

It's a strange feeling, paying $13 to use what amounts to a giant Beyblade in a Zelda game

There are 3 known Texans on this board including me, so that'll be good in setting up a scene/team somewhere in this fuckhuge state. Me and one of them are in DFW, but I don't about the other.

Florida will win Splatoon. We'll use the advanced 2100 tech of "being underwater" to stop ink from reaching our bases at all

Louisiana may be the proving ground for folks going either way.

The splatoon meta has advanced so much, that players do not even use their ink weapons. Instead, the splatoon community has agreed to settle matches by whoever can create the best shadow puppet with their hands.

Hey, so after all the announcements about Splatoon, I'm interested to hear your guys' thoughts on potential strategies for Splat Zones, as well as possible team compositions for the stages announced so far.

There is also strategy in Turf War too, but Splat Zones requires more. But we have all discussed Turf War strategies to death. I think the Roller could be very useful to cover the zone, but because of how little defense you have with that weapon I think you would only want one per team.
