Hello! I'm Fate, although I also go by NivinyaFate when Fate's unavailable (Smashboards, Twitch) but prefer Fate as a gamer tag. I'm a long time gamer, and while I've mainly played MMOs, Smash 4 gave me a reason to get a Wii U and I've been playing consoles a bit more lately. Since I've seen others talk about Smash mains, I main Zero Suit Samus without customs and Palutena with customs in Smash 4, although I'm not that great with either. I do play most/all characters to some extent as I've become more casual with the game than I originally was.
Other games I play are Guild Wars 2, Skyforge (somewhat retired until US open beta or at least more features added), Diablo 3, and I've been thinking about giving Final Fantasy XIV another try. The main games I'm looking forward to besides Splatoon are Overwatch and Everquest Next. I'm also an upcoming streamer, but since I don't have a game I want to play consistently for hours multiple days a week I've been holding off for now.
I've been following Splatoon since it was announced, but after seeing the Treehouse yesterday I'm more excited than ever about the game and can see myself playing it a lot. I probably won't get involved in the competitive scene, but I'm looking forward to watching tournaments or however the scene ends up working out. I think there's a good chance I'll be streaming Splatoon as well on Twitch, but I don't want to say for certain as I was originally planning to do that with Smash Wii U and that didn't work out as I didn't really enjoy devoting that much time to the game, at least at the time.
Fare thee well, my good squids!
