I don't use it a crapton, but I do like Miiverse. There's troll communities, but it's relatively easy to spot them.

I love the artwork that people make for miiverse
though there are a solid number of trolls, but hey; that's every community, in reality.

If one can even call it "trolling" on Miiverse, because it has to be rather tame anyway due to the strictness of admins. I usually find the wise guys on Miiverse rather funny when I occasionally glance at what they're saying. I even follow some of them. Other than that, I'll agree with Cap that Miiverse is a bit limited/limiting and narrow in scope, which aside from making it dull, clearly has a negative effect on some users.

when I refer to a troll on Miiverse, I am referring to the guy that his destiny was to get me console banned on my Wii U. I didn't even do anything to him. I had this awesome series called InterviewU, where I would interview the people of Miiverse. I would gain followers, and then I would use the interviews to pass my followers to the underrated people of Miiverse. Anyway, about a year ago, this... guy popped up. He would literally go around and stalk some others and me around on Miiverse. It was terrible. Then he began false report us. Long story short, I am gone from Miiverse for the most part. Now like I said, he got banned multiple times as well. But he found a way around it: he would format his 3ds every time he got a two week ban, make a new nnid, and continue to harm us. I kid you not, he made over 50 accounts, some just to mess with us. He even changed his location and name and Mii and stuff just to mess with us. It was stupid. Now I do not mind Miiverse integration; but when it keeps someone from using a part of the game--such as tournaments in Mario Kart 8-- then it is just too far.

The biggest trend that I've seen in Miiverse "jokes" goes along the lines of: "I love this game! My dad locks me in the closet when I cry because I'm hungry!" I'm having trouble thinking of new kinds of modes they could use that take advantage of the ink mechanics...good thing I am not being paid money to develop the game!
