Like is there any details you want more information on whether it would be party chat, multiplayer modes, Hero mode, weapons, possible demo release, and so on?

Probably the demo release and party information. I don't really care if there is a party system, but it'd be nice to know so we can stop agonizing over it. Maybe information about possible DLC, too.

Personally, probably not what a lot of other people are looking for:
Info on online setup, if there's any to be had, that is. If there'll be amiibos or not.
Aaaand...that's really about it.

Show off some new maps and weapons. More story mode info. Detailed explanation on how online works, and showing off any more playable modes if their are any. And I'd also like to see what all the possible color matchups when playing online are.

More details on the old-school sidescroller minigame dealy, if there'll be more online modes, if I'll be able to play 4 player splitscreen, or at least two people going online together...
And yeah, demo and amiibo info would be nice as well.

One big thing I missed
RELEASE DATE
As in, what day in May. I haven't preordered yet because I move around in the summer, thus can't know what store to preorder from

Mario Kart 8's direct coupled with what amounted to a month early release to certain YouTube users and game journalists in many ways ruined the fun of playing that game for the first time for me by essentially spoiling all the games content and any potential surprises. I hope they don't do that again with Splatoon. I'd love more details on the game; don't get me wrong. I just want to experience what I don't know about the game's content for myself instead of being straight up shown/told about it weeks before the game is actually out.

Well the obvious solution to that is a media blackout. Sometimes it's just what you have to do if you want to go in totally unspoiled, press has got to build hype for people who aren't quite as interested and all that. I do that all the time with the Zelda games and I imagine I'll do it with the upcoming one too.
On topic, I'd like to see more potential modes mostly. We've had a ton of looks at the maps and weapons over the course of the Squid Research Lab thing, I kinda want to see some stuff we haven't seen yet.

Everyone has basically covered everything I want to see. The big one is release date of course, but any info is good.
Personally spoilers don't bug me unless the game in question is very story based. Splatoon seems to be more gameplay focused so I don't see how spoilers would affect me.

Yeah, I agree 100% that not only spoiled the game, but also made the wait 10x harder. In didn't like that atnall, period. Also, basically what Bleak Forest said.

That Direct + the 50-Fact Extravaganza for Smash For Wii U basically covered everything in those respective games. Yeah, hope they don't do that again.

All I need is a few levels, multiplayer and single player in action, and extra features in a direct, and I'll be happy.

It'd be nice to know if there are any other game modes, more about the plaza and menu navigation, confirmation on voice chat, and the game's final release date.

I would be happy enough to just see an unedited, full showing of going into the tower, looking around the online lobby options, and joining/starting an online game. Release date would be great as well, and lets pray it comes out on a Friday Everyone has basically covered everything I want to see. The big one is release date of course, but any info is good. Personally spoilers don't bug me unless the game in question is very story based. Splatoon seems to be more gameplay focused so I don't see how spoilers would affect me. Eh, as long as the campaign's ending isn't just flat out given away and they keep enough maps, weapons, and clothing hidden for us to discover(which I'm not really worried about) I would be fine

The more I say it, the more I want it. So I would absolutely love to have a 4 player coop survival mode. In the main plaza, it could be in the back alley on the right where u meet up with some other inklings to go play!
Other things have already been said, more weapons, maps, multiplayer game modes, etc...
And of course a solid release date, and potentially saying something on future plans of DLC and amiibo
