I'm going to go with the Granade Launcher first. It looks like it's totally up my ally. Although I wonder how long it will take to get enough money to buy the other weapons upon starting the game, as their probably going to just give everyone the basic ink gun at first. Although I hope I'm wrong.

The normal ink gun looks just right for me. I like range and speed, so it looks like I will be able to just that and still effectively spread ink.

The roller is my favourite weapon shown so far. I think it would the most fun to use for spreading ink, and I think it looks awesome when you lift the roller and smash it down to attack the other players.

Well unless all of those are starting options which I highly doubt, then whichever weapon you start the game with. Considering you need earn both money and experience in order to gain access to and then actually buy the others and the only way to do that is by spraying ink so you'll be forced into something whether you like it or not at first. It would certainly be nice if at least a version of all those weapon was available right for the start though.

Just give me the rifle. I prefer to stay back and watch in these kind of games anyways.
Rather get the jump on others from a distance.

Probably the ink gun. Seems like something I would get accustomed to fairly quickly. Rifle and grenade launcher would be second priority.

The standard ink gun is so much fun to play with.
I would've picked sniper if it were an option in the poll. Can't wait to no-scope Squids.

Wow, the Paint Brush really isn't getting any love is it? Is it because its the weapon we know least about\the least promoted or is it because people just don't really care for it?

I actually think melee weapons will be my mains for some reason. I really want to see the Paint Brush in action. Actually... there's a lost of weapons I want to see more in action.

While their are certainly a few or so weapon variations we probably haven't even seen yet, both the Launcher and Brush have had very little coverage. Here's to hoping that changes soon enough.

Weapon Category Breakdown Part 1: Automatic These include all the weapons that fire a barrage of ink shots as long as your hold down the trigger. These fit nicely in the midrange category and as such are excellent for players that prefer to comfortably alternate between spreading ink and splattering other inklings. If you’re fond of the good old run and gun playstyle, these guns will be perfect for you. Their three primary stats are as follows: Range – The maximum distance the ink travels; the higher stat the further your ink will fly Rate – The firing rate; the higher this stat, the more rapidly it fires Attack – The ink volume of your shots; the higher this stat, the more ink you'll splatter per shot The weapons in this category offer various compromises between these three stats. The Splashooter for example offers an equal balance of all three; the Ink Gun boasts the highest firing rate with comparably poor range and lackluster ink per shot, while the 5.2 Gallon has the most ink per shot while being saddled with a low rate of fire. As a side note, these are the only main weapons that allow you to pull off the Splatterhop movement technique in which you quickly create and hop from ink puddle to ink puddle by alternating forms. 5.2 Gallon Stats Ink Gun Stats
