Please be civil and respectful.

Smash, Captain Toad. The usual upcoming Nintendo stable.
Was keeping an eye on DriveClub, but that's proving a hot mess.
Right now, just finished Hyrule Warriors. Fun game. Currently busy working on my own racing game for the Wii U (Imma developer), so it's sucking up a lot of my gaming time.

Smash 3DS mainly. Mario Kart 8 in a lesser extent. I am thinking of finishing Mirror's Edge, too (sadly my save file is gone, so I will have to start all over again... oh well, at least the game is fun). I am hyped for a game called Splatoon (not sure if any of you heard about it before), the Wii U version of Smash and specially the remake of Majora's Mask, one of my favorite games.

Xenoblade Chronicles X and Smash Wii U. Did anyone order the Gamecube controller bundle for this game?

I was going too, but decided against it when I heard that it would only support smash. I don't like paying 20$ for an accessory for one game D:
PS: Nothing against the GameCube Adapter (Dodges bullet shots)

Nope, I will be playing with the Pro Controller (as soon as buy one lol). GC controller is comfy, but it had its time and better controls were created after it.

Presently I play Smash on the Wii U, Rayman Legends (mostly challenges at this point, but I do replay a lot of the levels), and working on a used copy of Ninja Warrior for my 3DS. This all kind of varies though as I don't usually have a lot of free time with working around 25 hours or so.

I play both Smashes, MK8 (my school has a tourney coming up that I think I can win), Majora's Mask 3D (need to find time to beat it), and Animal Crossing. My video game playing picks up a lot after university ends in April, usually.
I might also buy Cities: Skylines because I love that kind of game.

I'm going to make a nice list of franchises that I like. I've never been very picky about games, so this may be a pretty big list: NINTENDO: Super Mario Brothers (includes RPGs), Chibi-Robo, Splatoon, Metroid, Star Fox, F-Zero, Rhythm Heaven, Punch-Out!!, Mario Kart, Super Smash Brothers, Pokemon, Kirby, Pikmin, Kid Icarus (Uprising only, really), Animal Crossing, Earthbound/Mother, Excite Series, Donkey Kong Country, Yoshi Series SEGA: Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Monkey Ball, Jet Set Radio, NiGHTS, Vectorman, Streets of Rage, Gain Ground, Ristar, Fantasy Zone, Altered Beast, Shinobi, Dynamite Headdy, Comix Zone, The Ooze, Monster World (IV), Space Harrier, Billy Hatcher, Fighting Vipers, Virtual-On, Toejam & Earl, Puyo Puyo, Ecco the Dolphin, Bayonetta, Gunstar Heroes, OutRun, Sonic & All-Stars Series SONY: Jumping Flash!, Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, Infamous, Ape Escape, LittleBigPlanet CAPCOM: Mega Man, Street Fighter, Ghosts & Goblins, Viewtiful Joe, Marvel VS Capcom NAMCO: Pac-Man, Klonoa, Dig Dug OTHER: Earthworm Jim, Banjo-Kazooie, Conker, Halo, Souls Series, Castlevania (Original Games), Dance Dance Revolution, LISA: The Painful RPG, Cave Story, Rayman, Team Fortress 2, Dead Space, Five Nights at Feddy's, Amnesia, The Binding of Issac, Super Meat Boy That is all I can think of off the top of my head. I will probably update this if I remember anything or I play something I really like. I'm really pumped for A Hat in Time and Project Ukulele. I love collect-a-thon games.

Gain Ground is a lost classic. My friend B mastered it and finally beat it after two years of trying while he was away in Saskatchewan on a football scholarship and said it was the most impressive thing he accomplished in the two years he was at that school. He had these sage words of advice: "Sometimes, in order to gain ground, you have to lose ground."

Been playing Dust AET (DRM-free PC version from GOG.com). I'm playing on normal mode at around 11 hours in with over 70% completion as of this post. I think I'm at the last part of the game, but I've been backtracking to do all the extra quests, bonuses and treasures that I missed. My Dust is currently level 30.
Overall, I love the game. It's a great mixture of platforming, RPG and HnS. The combat difficulty increases throughout the game, requiring that the player actually learn to play, go figure. And the animator guy who made the game for an Xbox competition a couple years ago (and won) did a great job making the story and animations. The cute little furry characters are adorable. Recommended.
