This pretty much confirms some sort of LAN mode, right? Unless the trucks all have a special build of the game?

Well that's some nice publicity for the games! Bet kids will enjoy.
Don't get the appeal of game truck, learned it exists just now lol, but if helps that's only a good thing.

It probably is more for niche appeal. It seems like a LAN party for more casual settings on wheels with hardware and software provided by a third party. Reading reviews on it, it sounds like it costs about as much as buying a new console, which actually doesn't sound like too bad of a price to be the main attraction for a big birthday party or other modest event.

Pretty much, I can see Nintendo using them at theme parks too just for promotion sake too. Glad to see so much push from Nintendo.
