The English Tumblr just got a huge (By huge I mean literally huge, not huge news ) new post! LinkIt looks like, from the first image (Below) that when there is two zones, as there can be up to two zones in a stage in Splat Zones, the zones are smaller. This is probably to compensate for the fact that you need to have both zones capped in order to start ticking down the timer. Also those two zones are father apart then they seem as one is higher up. I wonder if all stages can have one or two zones or if it depends on the stage on how many zones there are. I'm guessing the latter.

i know they've hinted at dlc, but i hope it's not map packs... they really fragment a community
i wouldn't mind clothes or weapons being dlc considering people who don't buy them still get to experience them in some way or another, but i hope maps will be free

Like maybe monthly/weekly type things like equips that are only sold for that week, maybe a look of the month. There are tons of possibilities that I hope they incorporated a little of into the game :3

TheSpeedyMouse those images have actually already been posted on this thread. In Japan, they actually already confirmed that there will in fact be multiple Splat Zones on some stages, which is cool.

I know, but read my post completely where I point out that the zones are smaller when there is two and a few other things. That's why I said it wasn't huge news, but the post was literally huge as on the Japanese twitter each picture had its own post.

Latest post from the English tumblr:
"Ranked battle rank report! One of our interns recently dug through the trash cans behind Inkopolis Tower and found some interesting nuggets of info about how ranked battles work (he also found some actual nuggets of chicken!). It sounds like there are nine ranks you can earn, from C- to A+, and this rank will go up or down depending on your wins and losses. So basically, the higher a player’s rank, the more of a boss they are (either that, or they’re terrible but have their older brother play online for them a lot). Not to worry, though, it sounds like players of a similar rank will be grouped together on the battlefield! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m gonna shoot for a solid B minus."
"(either that, or they’re terrible but have their older brother play online for them a lot)" Or anybody that is good!
I wonder how hard it is to retain an A+ rank.

I wonder how hard it is to retain an A+ rank. the higher ranks will probably come down to premade teams, if possible. though if you play enough and get that level higher then you will start to play against/with people that know what they're doing. Though that makes winning tougher too. I'll probably aim for a B rank too >.>

I wonder how easy/hard it will be to dip between ranks. Regardless, I want to at least try and get that A rank. Even if I never get it, I want to at least say I tried.

This ranking system excites me as much as mk8's vr system, so I don't give a crap I just want to be good at the game.

2:32 AM - 13 Apr 2015This is the Squeak-Clean Alpha/Quick Splat Charger. Its ink compression tank is miniaturized which enables it to charge almost instantly. Even though its range was shortened in exchange, it's still powerful. Its stock resembles a bottle of cleaning detergent, but despite its appearance this weapon only shoots ink. 2:33 AM - 13 Apr 2015We've obtained a video of the Squeak-Clean Alpha/Quick Splat Charger in action. Compared to the Splat Charger, one can discern a clear difference in range and charge time. This difference might seem small, but its actual combat usability is quite a bit different. Please watch and see for yourself.
