i wonder if this stage is gonna be hated, considering its surrounded by an instakill hazards (inklings drown on contact with water...) i honestly love the style of the stage, and i wonder if theres any sort of way to push people IN the water > Yeah this stage could either end up like the rainbow road for splatoon or the most boring/flat stage depending on whether there are invisible walls blocking the water or not. HOPEFULLY you CAN fall into the water and die, making this a more advanced stage. Also there needs to be a splat zone in that pavillion on the top left corner of the pic, and hopefully you can squid up to it from the side so that it doesn't end up being the camper spot. And the roof would be top tier sniping. AND, looking in the top right corner of the pic it looks like that far area might connect to the closer area, which would make this the widest/most spread out stage in the game thus far(unlikely since the game is only 1.8 gigs). not to mention a map that big would be really inappropriate for an arena shooter with 3 minute rounds.. i bet were seeing this squids pov from the bottom right corner of the map

From this angle it looks bigger than the others at least. I'd say maybe Walleye Warehouse and Blackbelly Skatepark tie for smallest. It's interesting though, how only a bit of the terrain in the distance is covered. Could this mean this specific match isn't Turf War, but Splat Zones with the Zone being where all the ink is? (Or some other mode even!)

I'm pretty sure I've seen footage of Inklings falling into the water on Camp Triggerfish.

Oh yeah ok I remember that. But it would be too tight if you could go on the roof(s) of the pavillion(s)

Camp triggerfish looks beautiful. The instability water sounds a bit annoying, but I guess it will be part of what makes the stage unique. That wooden bridge In particular looks like it will be a choke point like passage, unless there are other ways around..

i like how they have a rigid philosophy they stick to when designing maps. hopefully all of them are interesting to play on and have a healthy meta developed for them

*Still camps near the enemy base anyway* I have to say I'm extremely pleased with the invincibility while on your home/respawn pad. Ranged weapons won't have to worry about campers, more melee type will still have to worry about them, but then we still don't know how far the brush's ranged attack goes. Though sub weapons could be used too, hmmmmmmmmmm
