Do we think it is in the game or not? If it was would it be single-player and the plaza only? Have they confirmed/deconfirmed it yet?

There seem to be multiple colours for single player, being orange, blue, and cyan/teal. I assume that when you make your Inkling at the start you choose your preferred colour that others will see on the Plaza and will work in single player. Nothing is confirmed but it would make sense to show off your fave colour.
I'm picking purple, by the way. What're you gonna pick?

I feel like for the preview builds it is randomized just like the weapons/clothes apparently. The color was also from what I understand randomized for the single-player stages too. I hope you can pick your own color in the end though.. I think green is for me. :B

Yellow or light blue for me as they're my favorite colors, like I said in another thread. Hopefully you can customize it on the Inkling customization screen that GameXplain mentioned.

My theory for the single player campaign is that your color changes from world to world.
So the second world would be locked until you beat the first world and unlock the "blue" color.

I'll choose Blue, I'm not sure if either light blue or dark yet.

And another color choosing thread was born, almost identical to the last gender/color thread.

ProJared said in his video that your ink color changes every level in the singleplayer, and every multiplayer demonstration has had different set contrasting colors, so something tells me the colors will be set at random for your inkling. if theres any character creator im willing to bet the color will just be random for it to or a blank white color i guess its kind of lame that your color isnt set, but it makes sense. when playing multiplayer it will be immediately visible whose ink belongs to who and if you have to shoot over it, and if you could set your own ink color, youd either have to be matchmaked with players of the same ink color or lose that visual clarity

It would be nice if we could choose our team's ink color in friendly/customize matches.

I'd actually be surprised if that's not the case.
