That is the background of the inside of the tower if I'm not mistaken. Is wii remote and nunchuck supported for 1v1?

Did you mean to post the same image twice?
I'm thrilled at how many different sub and special weapons there are. Hell just the selection of weapons in general is fantastic. I can't wait to see how they work in the coming weeks. We've seen the sub weapon that comes with the Quick Splat Charger in that screenshot before in the January Direct where it was paired with the Brush. You also get brief footage of the lower right hand gun firing in the trail. I wonder what its name is and all the rest of the newcomers for that matter.
Gah! I'm so curious! These next two months are going to be slow torture.

Hey, a mall stage! Also, what do you think that Recon button does? Probably shows you a map of the...map.

Have a feeling Recon is a sort of spectate mode.

Have a feeling Recon is a sort of spectate mode. If there's actually a Spectate mode, maybe streaming for Tournaments will be that much easier?

If they do have a spectate mode, then I hope it lets you switch between players. Maybe not all, maybe just one team, though seeing all players perspective would be neat. But just so you don't get stuck watching that one player that paints one wall the entire match.

First off, I feel like the brush will basically be useless due the tiny hitbox which gets rid of almost any offensive possibility(unless it has a great melee/ink splat). The only use would be creating a path in the first five seconds of a splat zones match since it doesn't cover enough area for turf war. If there is a plentiful amount of sub weapons/items then there would add more potential(get through enemy lines and grenade spam and unexpected sub weapon use). The only problem with this is whether or not the movement speed in squid mode is changed. What would be the point of the nice agility that the brush gets if you could move that fast in squid for any other weapon? The more I think about it, the more I hope it will be the biggest weapon to troll with. I can only imagine at the very start of a match just using the minimap to find their path and blocking it with the ink shield subweapon while the rest of my team would get a headstart. If they do have a spectate mode, then I hope it lets you switch between players. Maybe not all, maybe just one team, though seeing all players perspective would be neat. But just so you don't get stuck watching that one player that paints one wall the entire match. I entirely agree. Spectator mode is cancer if it is just that one player(*cough mario kart 7 cough*). Mario Kart 8 was much better. And maybe wagering coins would actually matter in Splatoon since it actually relates to the gameplay whereas sm4sh coins were for pointless trophies. P.S. I have 60k coins atm

Oh, an airbrush weapon! How awesome is that! Can't wait to see how it plays.
The Brush looks fun because of how fast it goes but I doubt the narrow trail it leaves is very beneficial.

My first thought at seeing the airbrush weapon was flamethower like short spread kind of thing. Like maybe an Ink Flamethower minus the flames. Now that is a weapon I'd like to see!
And about the brush, I agree with DigDeep. In comparison to the Roller, the Brush doesn't seem all too beneficial. Even though from the trailer it looks to go at incredible speeds.

I pointed this out in another thread, but I think the Brush's speed will allow it to act as a scout-like player for their team.
The Brush can be used to distract opponents, and fade in and out of enemy fire.

Finally found out how the paint brush worked. I am really looking forward to this game so much so that I got the three pack amiibo bundle.

So wait is the Pro Contoller and the Classic Controller the only controllers that work in 1v1?
